Artist Bio
Autumn Mann is a student artist at Northern Michigan University(Marquette, MI), majoring in Art Education. Mann is a visual artist who explores themes of vulnerability, bodily autonomy, and complex relationship between identity and the physical form. Working through photography and alternative processes, her work is rooted in investigating how cultural narratives shape the way bodies are viewed, experienced, and understood. She specializes in alternative processing methods, mainly working cyanotype on glass. While spending a majority of her time in the lighting studio. Mann has work currently in the Seen/Unseen exhibition at The Crib, in Marquette.
